Eloah Angeline Tackitt was the daughter of Martin D. and Cynthia 
          Tackitt, born abt. 1830 in Arkansas. She married 
          John Milum Jones, the son of John 
          Jones, Sr., in Johnson County, Arkansas around 1852, and they resided 
          in Spadra Township. John and Eloah had two children born in Johnson 
          County: Sophronia Jones, born abt. 1853, and Felix Marion Jones, born 
          15 December 1855.
          
          Eloah, her husband 
          John Milum Jones, daughter
          Sophronia, her widowed 
          mother Cynthia Tackitt, and 6 of her 
          7 siblings (Pleasant,
          Marion, 
          Seaborn, 
          Matilda, 
          James M. and 
          Jones M. Tackitt) all died in the 1857 
          Mountain Meadows Massacre. Eloah's son Felix Marion Jones survived the 
          Massacre and was returned to relatives in Arkansas in 1859. Eloah was 
          27 years old when she died.
