ARKANSAS EMIGRANTS ~ FAMILIES

THE BELLER FAMILY

The Bellers were part of "The Baker Train" that departed from the area of their late father's store, Beller's Stand, near the Beller homestead at Milum Spring (also called Caravan Spring), Crooked Creek Township, Carroll County, Arkansas. (Today the site is located south of Harrison, in Boone County, Arkansas.) The two orphaned Beller children, Melissa Ann and David W., were traveling with George Washington Baker and their sister Minerva Ann (Beller) Baker, who were their guardians.
